Unit Bible Truth: Knowing, loving, and obeying God are the secrets of true wisdom. Unit Goals:To help middle elementary children . . . - Understand that wise people live in obedience to God
- Realize that God will help us know how to live wisely
- Desire to obey God at all times
- Seek and accept God's direction and help
- Give God the best they have in devotion and service
Verse-a-Month Club Verse:"It is the LORD your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him" (Deuteronomy 13:4).

Unit 2: Conversation with God
|
Unit Bible Truth: Jesus has given us an example of how to pray.
This unit will help middle elementary children. . .:- Understand Jesus' teachings about prayer
- Memorize and understand the Lord's Prayer
- Honor God when they pray
- Feel more comfortable talking to God
Verse-a-Month Club Verse: "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen." (Matthew 6:9-13).

Unit 3: Daniel: Lessons in Courage
|
Unit Bible Truth: We honor God when we courageously stand for what is right.
This unit will help middle elementary children. . . :- Recognize that trust in God is the foundation for a Christian's courage
- Realize that trust in God comes from knowing Him
- Commit themselves to honor God, no matter the consequences
- Ask for God's help when facing challenges to their faith
Verse-a-Month Club Verse:"Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong" (1 Corinthians 16:13).
